FAQ

Questions, answered.

How much food should I order?
For most events we recommend 3–4 hand rolls or Yakimonos per guest. Every event is unique and appetites vary, but this range keeps everyone well taken care of across our 2-hour live service — and minimizes the chance of running out before service ends.
What are Yakimonos?
Premium proteins, expertly prepared in advance and finished fresh on-site — each piece torch-seared and served warm in our signature seaweed wrap, temaki-style.
What is our catering minimum?
All bookings require a minimum of 200 items, which includes 2 hours of live service — ensuring every guest enjoys a fresh, interactive dining experience. If any food remains after service, it will be carefully packaged for you to enjoy for up to 3 days when properly refrigerated. Should all food be served before the 2-hour service window concludes, service will naturally end at that time.
What is your refund policy?
You may cancel for a full refund up to 30 days before your event. Cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable.
Can I modify my order later?
Absolutely — add or remove items until 30 days before your event, as long as the 200-item minimum is maintained. In some cases we can accommodate quantity adjustments as close as 10 days prior. Contact us for last-minute requests and we'll do our best.
Can you provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI)?
Yes — we can provide a COI for venues that require one after your deposit is received. Note that once a COI is issued the deposit becomes non-refundable, as the insurance is purchased specifically for your event.
When is payment due?
The remaining balance is due no later than the conclusion of service, before our team departs. For weddings and larger events we recommend completing payment at least one day prior for a seamless experience.
Do you offer tastings?
We don't offer private tastings — we operate exclusively as a catering company. To experience NORI. before booking, follow @nori.handrollbar on Instagram for upcoming pop-up announcements.
